Scotland's all-time squad could easily be put together on the basis of pre-WWII, impressive. The only post-war players I see capable enough to break into the XI are Andy Robertson, who I think is a spectacular left-back, and Danny McGrain. This directly shows the decline of Scottish football, just as there was a drastic decline in Hungary, Austria, Uruguay, Czechoslovakia and others.
Well, that's normal. After all, the main football forces will eventually perish, as well as the aforementioned nations, and new ones will appear. It's a cycle.
