Moving on to the next match of their tour, Beerschot A.C., who had held S.K. Slavia in the first half, but had suffered a lot in the second half, would face A.C. Sparta, which was considered the main team in Czechoslovakia. A.C. Sparta, meanwhile, had recently triumphed against two Scottish sides, Aberdeen F.C. and Celtic F.C., the champions of the Scottish League.
The red team from Prague would start with a somewhat modified squad, as Hrdlička and the Novák brothers would start. Even so, a quiet victory by the main team of Czechoslovakia was expected.

In some ways — and even unexpectedly — this match was difficult for the home team. The team from Antwerp gave the Spartans a lot of work, and on some occasions it looked as if the Belgians would maintain the advantage on the scoreboard. As much as Belgian football was considered inferior to Czech football, in fact, this was one of the games that served to teach not to underestimate the opponent, to always keep attention and focus on the game.
Sparta, which played without Sedláček, Perner and Pilát, had a weak day, they made the mistake of taking over the visitors' high game and were very sloppy on the ground. The Belgians played a long passing game and were very dangerous with their speed. They also excelled with their headers. They also played a better match than against S.K. Slavia. However, their second half was, once again, a decisivo one for the home team, because the Belgium defense was not enough to stop the constant attacks of A.C. Sparta.
The match, moreover, was marred by a scandal at the end of the first half:
MATCH REPORT: In the 43rd minute, a corner for Sparta is taken by Červený. The winger crosses and Janda puts the ball into the net with his hand, the referee whistles a goal. The visitors protest, leave the pitch, they return and the game continues.
This was a poor game by A.C. Sparta's half-back line and, on occasion, by their own offensive line. Without Pilát, there wasn't the same command and alignment among the players. Šroubek was very well marked, in addition to the poor performance of Novák I. The inside right Janda did very well; being quite decisive for his team. As much as Červený was very well marked, his centers for Janda were quite accurate. The half-back line, as mentioned before, was pretty weak, except for Káďa who performed very well from start to finish. Peyr and the full-back duo were regulars.
