Sparta did not line-up Janda, Kolenatý and Pilát. It turned out to be more difficult than expected, although Meteor started without Bouček, Řehák and with an injured Segre and finished with ten players, losing Šraml due to injury. Sparta had the upper hand, which its attack did not take advantage of in the first half due to indecision in front of the goal. From the half-backs to the forwards, lots of changes were made. Sparta could only find the first goal, which was scored by Červený, after a few changes. It was notorius that Sedláček was not supposed to play as an insider but as a winger. After this change and Káďa replacing Hajny in the command of the forward line, Sparta found the net three times.

S.K. Meteor Vinohrady was a team which knew how to defend, and, due to that, Sparta's actions would need more preciseness to be executed. Sometimes the away team would find a counter-attack moment, and, thus, due to Sparta's being almost all the time in front, Meteor Vinohrady would cause some damages with quick movements — and they actually scored a goal by a counter-attack.

THE GAME AFTER THE 66TH MINUTE.

A first half without goals was not expected by the attendance. Twenty minutes of the second half were gone, and Sparta did not find the net yet. However, John Dick decided to make two changes that would change Sparta's game. Káďa replaced Hajný as the centre-forward and Sedláček became the right winger. This proved to be an effective change, as Sparta finally found the net. Káďa was part of all three goals.
