A.C. Sparta gave an excellent performance and was rewarded for their beautiful play with frequent applause from the audience. This time, captain Karel Pešek-Káďa did not play the match. Instead of the great centre-half, František Kolenatý was the pivot of the team.
An interesting aspect was widely seen in the match: F.K. Pardubice's one-back-system. This system put Otakar Mazal offside several times. However, the left winger performed very well.
