SPARTA PORAZILA VIKTORII
SPARTA—VIKTORIA, 5:1 (4:0)
Steiner - Janda(2), Máca(2) and Sedláček — A.C. Sparta Praha conquer their second Středočeský Pohár title — Emil Seifert and Miroslav Pospíšil sent off.

The third edition of Středočeský Pohár was scheduled for 31/10/1920, Tuesday, at Ohrad for a dispute between A.C. Sparta and S.K. Viktoria Žižkov, the top two teams from Czechoslovakia. Both teams had competed in the last edition of the cup. They, moreover, had sent most of the Czechoslovakian players at the 1920 Olympic Games, especially A.C. Sparta.
České Slovo donated a beautiful silver cup with the insignia of the Czech crown to the country.

In front of something close to 7.000 spectators, the Středočeský Pohár final was played in cold and windy weather. The match was a battle of two styles. Sparta's ground game, accurate to the extreme, didn't mind the wind. Victoria's style and telling game suffered from wind and loss of composure and had no hope of success. At no point did A.C. Sparta demonstrate that they would let this achievement slip away.
The course of the match was too simple for the visiting team, although the home team had an excellent defensive system captained by Karel Steiner and Emil Seifert.
Just before the 25th minute, A.C. Sparta scored three goals, through Máca, Janda and Sedlacek.
After the break, Viktoria recovered and scoreed an honorable goal in the 5th minute of the second half, from penalty kick scored by Steiner, but Sparta attacked through it and Janda scored in the 61sy minute. The second half reflected a slower and unambitious pace on the part of A.C. Sparta. At the end of the match, Seifert Hojer collided, Seifert was sent off and Hojer left the field. After a while Pospíšil was sent off. S.K. VIKTORIA ŽIŽKOV
Viktoria Žižkov's team did not play football befitting its status, especially due to its playing style not being very well matched to the field conditions.
The defensive system has not lived up to its fame in recent years. Steiner had a lot of work to do against Sedláček-Janda's quick and precise actions. Klapka made mistakes in the opponent's goals and Švarcr was far below.
From the half-back line, Seifert played the best football.
The forward line performed good offensive combinations, but the indecisive action towards the opponent's goal meant that the team did not shoot much. A.C. SPARTA
Sparta demonstrated its true class, through its scientific actions and the class sovereignty of its main players. It can also be said that Sparta's style was better, because Sparta kept the ball as low as possible.
Mates had almost no tasks in this match, due to the dominance of the defensive system. Hojer and Pospíšil were solid, but very rigid in their actions. As previously mentioned, Pospíšil was sent off for hard play.
The half-back line was in its usual conditions, in the constancy that was inherent to it.
MATCH REPORT: The best part of the guests were the half-backs, who were as good at supporting the attack as they were at strengthening the defense.
In the forward line, Sedláček-Janda's side was superior. The combination and understanding of these two exceptional players was the main reason for the performance of the vanguard. On the right side, Sparta constantly bombarded Klapka's gate. Máca and Kocourek demonstrated a lot of technique, but they did not have the resistance to face the opposing defensive system. Špindler was slow.
