Regarding some of the greatest glories of Association football from, especially, more remote periods, were the Scots. Their class was notorious and characteristic of their footballing style, which, through their high performance, helped shape the caliber of the territory and of all football. Among the richest features, the chronicler "Bauldie", in several of his columns, tried to characterize some of the most outstanding footballers that Scotland had produced.
From the goalkeeper to the outside left, from the Anglo-Scot to the one who only joined the Association in his homeland, "Bauldie" tried to mention the footballers in detail, even those who were little known in Scotland, due to having gone earlier to England or not having received any cap.
