Upon arriving at the B.S.K. Beograd field, the entire Hungarian side noticed a precarious turf. Consequently, the state of the pitch would hinder the combination style of play that was intrinsic to coach Feldmann's team. Moreover, just over 4.500 people could attend the match.
The Hungarian side, without György Orth and without Nádler, excelled with the expectations imposed on the team. Right when the first goal was scored, through Jeny, the team never stopped attacking the opponent. In fact, Hungária F.C. could have gone with a much bigger lead into the break.
B.S.K. BEOGRAD.
The downfall of B.S.K Beograd was already expected, due to the fact that their football was mostly one of the lowest in the entire competition. Their game was somewhat primitive in some ways; in addition to being reflected precisely by its crudest defender: Popovic. If there was a good side in the team, it was the performance of both wingers — mainly Blagoje Marjanović, who had good chances to score goals.
HUNGÁRIA F.C.
Goalkeeper Biri was not tested enough; he could not do anything against both penalties.
In the full-back line, Mandl stood out more than Oláh, even though he committed both penalties. Oláh did not do very well, but he did not make the mistakes of his teammate.
Of all the ranks in Hungária, the best was, in fact, the half-back line; not because of the performances of Kléber and Rebró — both completely moderate in the match —, but because of the complete game played by Kvaz. The centre-half disarmed opponents' actions, connected very well with both the inside forwards and with the wingers and he made advances himself, which even scored the first goal of the match.
MATCH REPORT(HUNGARY): Kvasz, the best man in the field, destroyed and attacked with absolute tirelessness. He threw the wings forward with the greatest variety, and then delivered precise passes to the insides.
The forward line was characterized by its energetic advances. Constant bombardments were carried out by the Hungarian vanguard, especially due to the high level demonstrated by Opata and Skvarek. Molnár, in turn, did not perform as well as his compatriots.
The outside forwards did well, especially Rudolf Jeny.
