Despite all the beauty that the Spanish land offers us, we all still long for home. As great as the longing for the tour was at home, we were satisfied just as quickly. Especially in the atmosphere of New Year's Eve, we often thought of Budapest and New Year's Eve at home. The atmosphere was great even without alcohol. The new experiences, the players here come to life in great, imaginative commemorations next to the white table. Vili and Schaffer are inexhaustible in their jokes. Spéci always knows some very special experience to tell about the match, but the good Tóni Vágó can also keep up the pace. I will soon find out that on the field too! Among the young people, Opata is the most studious in this school and sometimes he tries to outdo the old ones. And yet, according to Spéci, he is quite elementary.

Today's match was the most beautiful one we have played so far on the tour. The game was played on a difficult, muddy ground, and our forward line was very at home on this pitch. The Spaniards started to attack very vigorously at the start, but we soon gained the upper hand and around the 10th minute Siklóssi scored the opening goal. There was also a dangerous, confusing situation at our goal, but Plattkó parried brilliantly, only the referee gave a free kick for carrying the ball, which we successfully saved. Later, Schaffer worked his way through the Spanish defence and scored a beautiful goal (2:0).

After halftime, the Spaniards attacked with great force. Acedo, Elexpurn, Laca sometimes came as if they wanted to sweep us out of their way. Once, Vili could only save at the last moment, so the forward tripped, the referee awarded a penalty, which they scored (2:1). We then set a huge tempo, which the Spaniards, exhausted on the difficult pitch, were unable to match. Schaffer was particularly in his element. His devilish dribbles were unstoppable. He broke through the defence again and sent a beautiful shot from the corner of the penalty area to the opposite goal post. The ball bounced off the edge of the goal post and into the net (3:1). The Spanish half-backs, Sauca, Larraza, Legarreta, were now in a hurry, but the direct defence prevented any further scoring.
