AMBROSIANA STILL UNLUCKY.

Just like at home eight days earlier, Ambrosiana were unlucky against Sparta here, and the scoreline of their narrow defeat likely doesn't reflect the true nature of the game.

It was another error by their goalkeeper, Peruchetti, so unlucky in Milan, that allowed Ambrosiana to concede a goal in the eighth minute. A scramble ensued in front of the Italian goal. A free kick was taken by Nejedlý. Braine emerged from the middle of a crowd of players. Peruchetti came out too late, and Braine simply had to tap the ball into the net.

But in the fifteenth minute, following a run by Antona and Ferrari, Meazza equalized, and the score remained unchanged until half-time. Up until then, the visitors had controlled possession.

In the fourteenth minute, a blow struck when Locatelli fouled Facsinek in the penalty area. Zajíček easily converted the resulting penalty. In the twentieth minute, Peruchetti redeemed himself somewhat by diving at Facsinek's feet, who was just two meters from goal. However, Ambrosiana didn't falter. In the twenty-fourth minute, Ferrari played a long ball to Vecchi. Vecchi flicked it on to Frossi, who caught the ball and immediately fired home.

In the thirty-eighth minute, Sparta scored the winning goal through Raymond Braine.

As you can see, Ambrosiana did more than just defend. Once again, they were unlucky. It must also be said that their disorganized attack — Meazza playing inside right and Ferrari, centre-forward — lacked homogeneity, like pretty much all the other lines for that matter.
