In 1934, when the book "Herbert Chapman on Football" was published, from the memoirs of the late Arsenal F.C. manager, Herbert Chapman published some of his opinions regarding the development of the game and gave his conclusions about certain players. In the book's lines, Chapman selected the best XI he's seen play, as well as citing that Ernest Needham was his childhood hero and that he was the best player his eyes have ever seen. Here is the XI:
