František Plánička could share the mistake regarding the first goal of the match. He, however, did stop some shots from Matthias Sindelar, but that was about it. Plánička did not have much to do due to F.K. Austria's weak attacks. The pair of full-backs were not the main aspect of the team, Ladislav Ženíšek also shared the mistake of the first goal and Adolf Fiala played injured. Nevertheless, considering their conditions, they still did not played badly.

The half-backs had an excellent performance, especially in the first half. There was some doubt whether the selected half-back line would be enough to stop the fast and inventive combinations of the opposing team, mainly in direct clashes with Matthias Sindelar. However, the course of the match gave advantage to Slavia's half-back line. Centre-half Štefan Čambal got the better of Sindelar this time, reading him accurately and making his actions as difficult as possible. Čambal performed very well for most of the match, very confident in his movements, and launching attacks towards his teammates. He was everywhere and directed the game. Adolf Šimperský played usefully, especially in the first half, Antonín Vodička, although injured, very selflessly and with a sense of supporting the attack. Both wing half-backs, Vodička and Šimperský, as mentioned before, did very well in the first half, but dropped in production in the second half.

Starting with both the red and white team's inside forwards, Vlastimil Kopecký was the main player of the entire offensive line. František Svoboda, in turn, who also performed very well; fulfilling, thus, his main function of scoring a goal. However, he was more withdrawn in his actions than Vlasta Kopecký. Of the outside forwards, František Junek found Karl Gall and Walter Nausch almost unbeatable opponents. However, he was better than the left winger. Bohumil Joska could not replace Antonín Puč.

MATCH REPORT: The attack was not up to par this time and it can be said that the three goals they scored were the maximum for their game. Unstylishness, impreciseness and impetuousness were the chief vices. Sobotka was disappointing as he was unsuccessful, Svoboda was exhausted and Junek had few good balls. Kopecký was the only one who kept the ball and passed. Of course, Puč was sorely missed, especially in shooting. Joska tried, but he didn't stand up for him.
