Kick and rush is a style of game practiced since the beginning of football. In counterpart to the Scottish style, kick and rush tends to ignore the whole process of passing the ball from rank to rank and to ignore scientific football. The players mainly focus on long balls which could actually be sent by the goalkeeper or defenders directly to the forwards, looking for the speed of the comrade or an eventual aerial dispute. With tall, robust and fast forwards this system mainly proved to be efficient.
